Ralf Schmidt is Managing Director of AMFS Pte. Ltd. He is advisor, director and mentor to companies in the maritime and logistics industry, in renewable energy, sustainability, finance and food.

Ralf has over 25 years of experience in the banking industry, 5 years in Germany and over 20 years in Singapore. His main activities have been in shipping and renewable energy finance as well as risk management. Between 2008 and 2012 he was Chief Risk Officer Asia of HSH Nordbank AG and from 2012 till 2020 General Manager Asia Pacific.

As HamburgAmbassador, Ralf is the honorary representative of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg in Singapore since October 2015 fostering cooperation between Singapore and Hamburg.
