For ten years now, the INTERNORGA Future Award has been recognising companies that pursue and implement those standards, and applications for the 11th INTERNORGA Future Award are open from now until 15 January 2022. One of the most important national and international prizes in the foodservice and hospitality market, it is awarded in three categories.

Companies that are contenders for the award have a pioneering spirit and set trends for the entire sector – by pointing out and following new andcourageous paths, broadeningperspectives and offering sustainable solutions. With the INTERNORGA Future Award, the leading international trade fair for the entire foodservice and hospitality market acknowledges innovative products, technologies and strategies that put their faith in a sustainable futurefor restaurants, hotels and bakeries. INTERNORGA will take place from 18 to 22 March on the grounds of Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH.

In each category, three companies have the chance to win the prestigious industry equivalent of an Oscar. Companies can apply for the category ‘Trendsetter Company – Gastronomy & Hotel Sector’ themselves or be nominated for it. The applicants come from the hotel, restaurant, catering and canteen sectors and are recognised for their entrepreneurial activity and future-oriented business, through which they are setting the trends of tomorrow.

Two other categories are only open to exhibitors at INTERNORGA 2022. The ‘Trendsetter Product – Food & Drink’ category rewards an innovative product that stands out due to healthy and biologically valuable raw materials, high quality in processing and flavour, or fair production conditions and recycling, for example. The category ‘Trendsetter Product – Technology & Equipment’ recognises intelligent technical solutions for the foodservice and hospitality market that impress thanks to their efficiency and economy in the use and application of energy and materials. This category also includes digital solutions that optimise work processes and applications and provide fresh impetus for the sector.
