Getting your visa for the fair has got easier:

Invitation letter requirement waived

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany notified the visa offices at the German diplomatic representations abroad that effective 24 July 2013, requests for visas for trade fair visits in Germany no longer have to be accompanied by an invitation letter from the relevant trade fair company.

Exhibitors are requested to submit an Exhibitor Acceptance Form issued by the relevant trade fair company when requesting a visa; in this case, the visa can be issued free of charge. For specific visa requirements (documents to submit, deadlines etc.) please inquire at the responsible local embassy or consulate. Please be sure to contact the consulate at the earliest time possible. All required documents must be submitted at the time you request the visa!

If you still need an invitation letter, please fill-in the form. All fields marked with an asterisk * are mandatory. Your personal information will be taken directly from the online form. We are sorry we are unable to make any changes or corrections. If your invitation letter contains any incorrect information, please fill-in the form again. Your invitation letter will be e-mailed to you as a pdf document. Fax transmission is not possible. It usually takes 10 days to process your request.

Especially for exhibitors from China we have extended the questionnaire by the addition: stand number - this will thus also be listed in the invitation letter.

We have received information that for VISA applicants from India, Iran and Turkey, the waiting time for visa application appointments is currently very long. Please apply for your visa as early as possible so that your participation in our fair can take place safely.
