Facts and Figures

Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH

One location – one company – two fields of business. Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH is a company offering a full service for the organisation and holding of national and international trade fairs and congresses. One of its special benefits is that the two areas of business are two independent, highly professional units that can be utilised together perfectly due to their proximity to one another. The trade fair site is physically connected to the CCH – Congress Center Hamburg by a covered passage through the “Planten un Blomen” park. A five-minutes' walk is all it takes to join trade fairs with congresses. The synergies arising from this close interlinking of trade fair and congress facilities benefit organisers and visitors alike. Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH sees itself as a service provider in the broadest sense of the term. That includes services which have been greatly expanded over the past few years, and which will continue to be added to and improved over the years to come.

Following the new construction of a 7000 square metre multi-function exhibition hall and the associated conference area, the CCH-Congress Center Hamburg has regained its top position in international competition.

This modern conference centre has expanded its exhibition space to a total of 10,000 square metres with the new hall, which fully meets the requirements of the international conference and meetings business. Together with the new conference area, the CCH has more than 23 fully air-conditioned conference rooms, some of them suitable for partitioning, and seats a total of 12,500 people, including 6000 in the new exhibition hall. Despite this, the compact design means that everything is still close together at the CCH, with conferences and exhibitions near to one another, and all on one level. That makes the CCH ideal for large international conferences accompanied by extensive trade shows.
